A rose is a rose and much more

This is a personal love letter to flowers.

Flowers are flowers and much more, I believe they are one of the richest gifts of creation, reminding us that beauty is all around, that seasons pass, that we are as perfect in spring bloom as we are when we loose our petals for a while and rest underneath the earth as tiny seeds. Flowers, (nature in general), make the wheel of life visible, and gives us the present of exploding colors and shapes.

I love flowers in weddings because they are silent carriers of your portrait, it tells a lot of you if you choose warm, vibrant colorful blooms and peonies, or if you go with white paniculata and olive leaves. If you are drawn to red or white roses or if wildflowers and strawberrys are the stars of your bouquet, all of this tells a story.

I love flowers in weddings also because they bring nature to the table, and because they often end in guests hair making people feel beautiful. There is something magical about adorning oneself with a flower, isn’t it? It sparks a mythical vibe that uplift us from whitin.

That is the power of flowers.
